7 Habits of Highly Effective People
BE PROACTIVE
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."
what we can do with our life depends on us, we decide who we want to be in the future also what and who is going to lead our way and if we will choose to do the wrong or do the right which will tell ourselves how proactive we are or if we need to be more proactive.
Begin with the End in Mind
Habit 2 is based on imagination the ability to envision in your mind what you cannot at present see with your eyes. It is based on the principle that all things are created twice. There is a mental creation, and a physical creation. The physical creation follows the mental, just as a building follows a blueprint. If you don't make a conscious effort to visualize who you are and what you want in life
Put First Things First
This new habit is trying to tell us that we should always put the most important things first because that's what counts. For example if you want to make something that you really like you have to give priority to that wished thing.
Think Win-Win
The Fourth habit of highly effective people is to think win-win. This is important because to think win-win means only to settle for the best of situations and possibilities. Settling for win-lose situations or lose-lose situations is set up for failure.
Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood
This means that look first to then understand something and then that will be understood. Trying to figure out something isn't so easy which is why you have to listen to someone when they are talking to you and understand why they feel that way. This is good because then you will know how the other person feels. We have to be nice to our friends or to our family members and when they need someone to talk to you should listen to what they have to say because that will mean a lot to them.
Synergize
To put it simply, synergy means "two heads are better than one." Synergize is the habit of creative cooperation. It is teamwork, open-mindedness, and the adventure of finding new solutions to old problems
Sharpen the Saw
preserving and enhancing the greatest asset you have--you. It meanshaving a balanced program for self-renewal in the four areas of your life: physical, social/emotional, mental, and spiritual.
